This Team will be responsible for ensuring that the entire Carmichael community is aware of all the amazing initiatives each Team is doing and are able to take advantage of these initiatives.

 

They'll put up banners through out the community, appear on Talk Shows weekly, do press releases monthly, make monthly church visits on the last Sunday of each month, launch a free community bus service to take seniors to the grocery and pharmacy, post the community announcements on television, do door to door visits to assess the needs and then meet the needs of residents in the community. So if this Team encounters a family during their community walkabouts that has persons unemployed, not attending school, in an abusive environment etc, they'll call on the appropriate ‪#‎OurCarmichael‬ Team to assist with jobs, scholarships or counseling for instance.

 

This Team will also serve as the facilitators of a Community Service Program which persons/offenders can report to rather than have to do jail time to repay society.
