Team Queen B.E.E. (Beautiful -Educated- Empowered)

 

This team will host 1 event every 3 months for girls between the ages of 13 and 18, 1 event every 6 months for girls between the ages of 5 and 12 and 1 event each year for women. Their goals are to help young girls create a dream/vision for their lives and then support each girl with mentors that will stick with them throughout the program to help them fulfill their dreams. Additionally, they will host seminars on etiquette, peer pressure, teenage pregnancy, career, college life, money management, self-esteem, the fight for equality and the importance of a good education.

 

The Team will network with Team S.E.E. above for scholarships for the young ladies that are in the program. The Team's all female mentors will provide that listening ear via whatsapp and social media and offer advice to teen girls to ensure that they stay on the right path. The Team's presentations will be recorded and shared via social media and whatsapp so other females, young men and parents can watch what the girls have learnt and encourage them.

 

Their first event will be on March 5th 2016.
